Wasted my evening fixing this website. WordPress and its plugins get buggier as newer versions come out. I wish I could justify £96 a year on Squarespace but owning a blog in the age of social media is already quite self-indulgent.

In 2012 I watched 337 films. In 2017 I’ve seen 25 at most (and only 3 of those at the cinema). Maybe I should accept that films aren’t my bag anymore?

For tonight’s graps show, I had to reserve the ticket by phone, collect it at the box office three miles away from the venue, and pay cash. Suddenly the seven sweetest words in the English language are: your PayPal receipt serves as your e-ticket.

It’s always risky spending so much time on novels the size of Tower Bridge. Hanya Yanagihara’s A Little Life was utterly devastating and made me appreciate my wellbeing a lot more. American Gods, on the other hand… Meh.
